The ProLab Design PL-1U-650L 1U Rackmount Chassis is engineered for compact enterprise deployments, offering a clean industrial design optimized for Servers, Networking Appliances, Edge Computing Systems, Storage Servers, and Embedded Enterprise Platforms. Built for dense rack environments, the chassis combines compact dimensions with reliable enterprise-grade hardware compatibility.
The chassis supports up to SSI-EEB (E-ATX) motherboards, enabling compatibility with enterprise server platforms and workstation-grade hardware configurations. It also provides support for one horizontal expansion slot or customized expansion layouts depending on deployment requirements.
Storage support includes 4x internal 3.5” HDD drive bays, making the chassis suitable for compact NAS systems, backup servers, surveillance storage, and data archival applications while maintaining a slim 1U rackmount profile.
Cooling is handled through 5x 4028 hot-swap ball-bearing fans mounted on the middle fan wall, ensuring focused airflow delivery across critical components for stable operation in high-density rack environments. The chassis also supports standard 1U power supplies for wide compatibility with enterprise PSU solutions.
For convenient accessibility and system monitoring, the front I/O panel includes 2x front-accessible USB 2.0 ports along with dedicated Power LED, HDD LED, NIC LEDs, Power Switch, and Reset controls, enabling simplified maintenance and operational monitoring in server rack deployments.
