The ProLab Design PL-365-16 is a high-capacity 3U rackmount chassis designed for enterprise storage servers, virtualization platforms, GPU-accelerated workloads, and professional data center deployments. Engineered with a compact yet scalable industrial design, the chassis combines high-density storage support with enterprise-grade hardware compatibility for demanding server environments.
Supporting SSI-EEB (E-ATX) motherboards, the PL-365-16 is compatible with enterprise-grade Intel Xeon and AMD EPYC server platforms, making it suitable for virtualization, storage management, AI inference, media processing, backup infrastructure, and enterprise compute workloads.
Storage capability is a major highlight of the PL-365-16, featuring support for up to 16x front-accessible 3.5” drive bays. Combined with the integrated 12 Gb/s Mini SAS backplane, the chassis enables high-speed storage connectivity for NAS systems, software-defined storage, archival deployments, and large-capacity enterprise storage arrays.
Cooling is handled through 3x pre-installed 12038 high-performance fans, delivering strong airflow across CPUs, memory, storage, and expansion components for reliable thermal performance in continuous enterprise workloads. The chassis also supports 1+1 CRPS redundant power supplies for enterprise-grade uptime and operational reliability.
For accelerated computing and workstation-class deployments, the PL-365-16 supports up to 2x dual-width GPUs alongside 7x full-height expansion slots, enabling integration of AI accelerators, networking cards, storage controllers, or professional compute hardware depending on deployment requirements.
For deployment convenience, the ProLab Design PL-365-16 includes a railkit for simplified rack installation and maintenance access. Front I/O connectivity includes 2x USB 3.0 ports, while the compact 650mm chassis depth provides broad compatibility with modern server racks and enterprise infrastructure environments.
