The ProLab Design PL-450-3P is a versatile 4U rackmount chassis designed for workstation deployments, industrial computing, GPU-accelerated systems, and professional server applications. Built with a compact industrial design, the chassis combines flexible hardware compatibility, expansion capability, and reliable cooling support for a wide range of enterprise and workstation workloads.
Supporting ATX and Micro-ATX motherboards, the PL-450-3P is compatible with modern Intel and AMD platforms, making it suitable for rendering systems, AI inference, virtualization, industrial automation, edge computing, and professional workstation deployments.
Storage support includes 2x front-accessible 5.25” drive bays alongside 1x internal 3.5”/2.5” drive bay, enabling flexible configurations for storage devices, removable drive cages, optical drives, or specialized enterprise hardware depending on deployment requirements. The chassis utilizes a direct-drive layout without a backplane for simplified system integration.
Cooling is handled through a pre-installed 12025 fan, delivering efficient airflow across CPUs, GPUs, storage, and expansion hardware for stable operation under continuous workloads. The chassis supports standard ATX power supplies, providing broad compatibility with commonly available PSU solutions.
For accelerated computing and workstation-class applications, the PL-450-3P supports up to 2x dual-width GPUs alongside 7x full-height expansion slots, enabling integration of professional graphics cards, AI accelerators, networking adapters, RAID controllers, and specialized compute hardware.
For deployment convenience, the ProLab Design PL-450-3P includes a railkit for simplified rack installation and maintenance access. Front I/O connectivity includes 2x USB 3.0 ports, while the compact 480mm depth improves compatibility with industrial racks, compact server cabinets, and edge deployment environments.
