The ProLab Design PL-S665-60 is a high-capacity 6U rackmount chassis engineered for enterprise storage infrastructure, large-scale NAS deployments, backup servers, surveillance archives, and software-defined storage environments. Designed for organizations requiring massive storage scalability in a dense rackmount form factor, the chassis combines enterprise-grade cooling, redundant power delivery, and extensive drive support for continuous data-intensive operations.
Built with support for SSI-EEB (E-ATX) motherboards, the PL-S665-60 is compatible with modern Intel Xeon and AMD EPYC enterprise platforms, making it suitable for storage virtualization, archival systems, enterprise backup solutions, cloud infrastructure, and high-capacity data management workloads.
The PL-S665-60 delivers exceptional storage density with support for up to 60x front-accessible 3.5” hot-swap drive bays along with 2x internal 2.5” drive bays. Paired with the integrated 12 Gb/s Mini SAS backplane, the chassis enables high-speed storage connectivity and scalable storage expansion for enterprise NAS arrays, surveillance retention systems, media archives, and large-scale backup deployments.
Cooling is handled through 6x pre-installed 12038 hot-swap fans, ensuring consistent airflow across processors, memory, storage arrays, and expansion hardware during sustained enterprise workloads. The chassis also includes dual pre-installed 1600W CRPS power supplies, providing redundant power delivery and reliable uptime for mission-critical deployments.
For hardware expansion, the PL-S665-60 supports 7x half-height expansion slots and conditional low-profile GPU support depending on motherboard configuration and system layout. This enables deployment flexibility for RAID controllers, high-speed networking cards, storage accelerators, and specialized enterprise add-in hardware.
For deployment convenience, the ProLab Design PL-S665-60 includes a railkit for simplified rack installation and servicing access. Front I/O connectivity includes 2x USB 3.0 ports, while the 650mm chassis depth provides compatibility with modern enterprise racks and storage-focused data center environments without compromising storage density or maintainability.
