The ProLab Design PL-165-10 is a compact 1U rackmount chassis designed for enterprise storage servers, NAS appliances, virtualization platforms, and high-density rack deployments. Engineered with a clean industrial design and optimized for storage-focused environments, the chassis delivers reliable compatibility for modern enterprise hardware within a slim 1U form factor.
Supporting SSI-EEB (E-ATX) motherboards, the PL-165-10 is compatible with enterprise-grade Intel Xeon and AMD EPYC server platforms, making it suitable for storage management, virtualization, networking infrastructure, and compact server deployments in professional rack environments.
Storage is a key highlight of the PL-165-10, featuring support for up to 10x front-accessible 2.5” drive bays. Combined with the integrated 6 Gb/s SATA backplane, the chassis is ideal for SSD-based storage arrays, virtualization clusters, caching servers, and high-speed enterprise storage applications.
Cooling is handled through 4x pre-installed 4028 fans, delivering focused airflow across CPUs, memory, and storage components for stable operation in dense rackmount environments while maintaining efficient thermal performance within the compact 1U chassis layout.
The chassis supports standard 1U power supplies and includes 1x full-height horizontal expansion slot for networking, storage, or specialized enterprise add-in cards depending on deployment requirements. GPU support is not included, allowing the design to remain optimized for storage and infrastructure-focused applications.
For deployment convenience, the ProLab Design PL-165-10 includes a railkit for simplified rack installation and maintenance access. Front I/O connectivity includes 2x USB 3.0 ports, while the compact 650mm chassis depth ensures broad compatibility across enterprise server racks and data center environments.
