The ProLab Design PL-265-24 is a high-density 2U rackmount chassis engineered for enterprise storage servers, NAS appliances, virtualization platforms, and data center deployments. Designed with a compact industrial form factor and optimized for storage-focused environments, the chassis delivers enterprise-grade compatibility while maximizing storage density within a 2U rack space.
Supporting SSI-EEB (E-ATX) motherboards, the PL-265-24 is compatible with enterprise Intel Xeon and AMD EPYC server platforms, making it suitable for virtualization, storage management, backup infrastructure, surveillance storage, and high-capacity enterprise server deployments.
Storage capability is a key highlight of the PL-265-24, featuring support for up to 24x front-accessible 3.5”/2.5” drive bays. Combined with the integrated 12 Gb/s Mini SAS backplane, the chassis enables high-speed storage connectivity for large-capacity storage arrays, software-defined storage, enterprise NAS systems, and archival environments.
Cooling is managed through support for 4x 80mm fans, with 3x 8025 fans pre-installed to provide focused airflow across CPUs, memory, storage, and expansion components for stable thermal performance in dense rackmount environments. The chassis also supports 1+1 CRPS redundant power supplies for enterprise-grade uptime and power reliability.
For expansion flexibility, the PL-265-24 includes support for 7x half-height expansion slots, enabling integration of networking, storage, or low-profile accelerator cards depending on motherboard layout and deployment requirements. Low-profile GPU support is available conditionally based on motherboard compatibility and system configuration.
For deployment convenience, the ProLab Design PL-265-24 includes a railkit for simplified rack installation and maintenance access. Front I/O connectivity includes 2x USB 3.0 ports, while the compact 650mm chassis depth ensures broad compatibility with enterprise server racks and modern data center environments.
