The ProLab Design PL-465-08 is a versatile 4U rackmount chassis designed for enterprise servers, virtualization platforms, GPU-accelerated workloads, and professional storage deployments. Engineered with a scalable industrial form factor, the chassis combines enterprise-grade hardware compatibility, flexible expansion support, and optimized airflow for modern data center and workstation environments.
Supporting SSI-EEB (E-ATX) motherboards, the PL-465-08 is compatible with enterprise Intel Xeon and AMD EPYC server platforms, making it suitable for AI inference, virtualization, storage management, rendering systems, backup infrastructure, and enterprise compute workloads.
Storage support includes up to 8x front-accessible 3.5” drive bays paired with an integrated 12 Gb/s Mini SAS backplane, enabling high-speed storage connectivity for NAS systems, enterprise archival storage, virtualization environments, and software-defined storage deployments.
Cooling is handled through 3x pre-installed 12038 high-performance fans, delivering focused airflow across CPUs, memory, storage, and expansion hardware for stable thermal performance during continuous enterprise workloads. The chassis supports both standard ATX (PS2) power supplies and 1+1 CRPS redundant power supply configurations, providing flexibility for a wide range of server deployments.
For accelerated computing and workstation-class applications, the PL-465-08 supports up to 2x dual-width GPUs alongside 7x full-height expansion slots, enabling integration of AI accelerators, networking adapters, RAID controllers, and professional compute hardware depending on workload requirements.
For deployment convenience, the ProLab Design PL-465-08 includes a railkit for simplified rack installation and maintenance access. Front I/O connectivity includes 2x USB 3.0 ports, while the 650mm chassis depth ensures compatibility across a wide range of enterprise server racks and modern data center environments.
