The ProLab Design PL-465-24 is a high-capacity 4U rackmount chassis engineered for enterprise storage servers, virtualization infrastructure, GPU-accelerated workloads, and professional data center deployments. Designed with a scalable industrial form factor, the chassis combines dense storage capability, enterprise-grade hardware compatibility, and flexible expansion support for modern server environments.
Supporting SSI-EEB (E-ATX) motherboards, the PL-465-24 is compatible with enterprise-grade Intel Xeon and AMD EPYC server platforms, making it suitable for virtualization, software-defined storage, AI inference, backup infrastructure, surveillance storage, and high-performance enterprise compute applications.
Storage capability is a primary highlight of the PL-465-24, featuring support for up to 24x front-accessible 3.5” drive bays. Combined with the integrated 12 Gb/s Mini SAS backplane, the chassis enables high-speed storage connectivity for enterprise NAS systems, archival storage, large-capacity storage arrays, and high-density data management deployments.
Cooling is handled through 3x pre-installed 12038 high-performance fans, delivering focused airflow across CPUs, memory, storage, and expansion hardware for stable thermal performance under continuous enterprise workloads. The chassis supports both standard ATX (PS2) power supplies and 1+1 CRPS redundant power supply configurations, providing deployment flexibility and enterprise-grade reliability.
For accelerated computing and workstation-class deployments, the PL-465-24 supports up to 2x dual-width GPUs alongside 7x full-height expansion slots, enabling integration of AI accelerators, networking adapters, storage controllers, and professional compute hardware depending on workload requirements.
For deployment convenience, the ProLab Design PL-465-24 includes a railkit for simplified rack installation and maintenance access. Front I/O connectivity includes 2x USB 3.0 ports, while the 650mm chassis depth ensures compatibility with a wide range of enterprise server racks and modern data center environments.
