The ProLab Design PL-4U610-IC is a versatile 4U industrial rackmount chassis designed for enterprise servers, workstation deployments, industrial computing, GPU-accelerated systems, and professional storage applications. Built with a compact industrial form factor, the chassis combines flexible hardware compatibility, expansion capability, and efficient cooling for a wide range of enterprise and workstation workloads.
Supporting standard ATX motherboards, the PL-4U610-IC is suitable for modern Intel and AMD workstation and server platforms, making it ideal for virtualization, rendering, AI inference, industrial automation, edge computing, and professional compute environments.
Storage support includes 3x internal 5.25” drive bays alongside 1x internal 3.5”/2.5” drive bay, allowing flexible configuration for storage devices, removable drive cages, optical drives, or specialized enterprise hardware depending on deployment requirements. The chassis does not utilize a backplane, enabling direct-drive connectivity and simplified internal layouts.
Cooling is handled through 2x pre-installed 120mm fans, delivering efficient airflow across CPUs, GPUs, storage, and expansion hardware for stable thermal performance under continuous workloads. The chassis supports both standard ATX (PS2) power supplies and 1+1 CRPS redundant power supply configurations, providing flexibility for enterprise and industrial deployments.
For accelerated computing and workstation-class applications, the PL-4U610-IC supports up to 2x dual-width GPUs alongside 7x full-height expansion slots, enabling integration of AI accelerators, professional graphics cards, networking adapters, RAID controllers, and specialized compute hardware.
For deployment convenience, the ProLab Design PL-4U610-IC includes a railkit for simplified rack installation and maintenance access. Front I/O connectivity includes 2x USB 3.0 ports, while the compact 480mm chassis depth improves compatibility with a broad range of industrial racks, compact server cabinets, and edge deployment environments.
